The hydrosphere covers 3quarters of the Earth's surface.Amajor part of the hydrosphere is the marine ecosytem in the ocean,while only a small par is fresh water.The fresh water in rivers,lakes and glaciers is perpetually being renewed by process of evaporation and rainfall;some of this fresh water is stored in under ground aquires.Human activities,like deforestation ,create serious chanfes in the hydrosphere .Once the land is denuded of vegentation,the rain erodes the soil,which is then washed in to the sea.
Chemicals form industry and sewage find theirway in to rivers and in to the sea.Water pollution thus theaterns the health of communities,as all our lives depand on the availability of clean water.This once plentiful resource is now becomming rare and expensive due to pollution.
