Planning land use

Land itself is a most important resources;it is nessecery for food production ,animal husbandary industry,and for our growing human settelements.These forms of intesnsive land use the frequently extended at hte cost of 'wild lands':Our remainimg forests,grass lamds wetlands and deserts .Thus it is wssential to evolve a rational landuse policy that examines how much land must be made available for different purpose and where it must be situated .For instance ,there are usually alternate sites at wich industrial complexes or dams can be built ,but a natural wildness cannot be recreated artificiallly scientists todau believe that at least 10% of the land and water bodies of each ecosystems must be kept as wilderness for the long term needs of protecting nature and natural resources.
